Building OnePgr in Public: Lessons in Progress Over Perfection

When I started OnePgr, it wasn’t to create noise it was to create clarity.
I’d spent years watching sales teams struggle with fragmented tools, time-consuming research, and generic outreach.
We weren’t short on platforms we were short on focus and flow.

So we decided to build.
One step at a time.
In public.

That choice came with trade-offs.
Not everything was polished.
Not every rollout was perfect.
But I’ve come to believe that learning out loud is one of the best things we’ve done.

Because when you build in public, you build with real feedback not assumptions.
You attract collaborators, not just customers.
And you stay grounded in the problem, not distracted by the pitch.

That’s how tools like BabuAI (3-minute sales research) and EngageGPT (signal-based outreach) took shape.
Not through theory but through constant iteration and conversations with real operators in the field.

Here’s what I’ve learned:
✅ It’s okay to share before everything is ready
✅ Transparency builds trust faster than polish ever will
✅ Speed and clarity beat complexity every time

This journey has reminded me that credibility doesn’t come from being right all the time it comes from showing your work, owning the missteps, and staying committed to solving the problem.

So if you’re building, testing, or navigating your own GTM challenges I’d love to connect.
We’re all figuring it out together.
